Jennie M. Oswalt, 103, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly Juniata, died Friday at the home. She was born in Morrisdale, daughter of Martin and Susan (Ktach) Lazar. She married Walter L. Oswalt at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and he died May 28, 1970. Surviving are a son, James M., Altoona; four grandchildren: Michael Oswalt and wife, Melanie, Long Island, N.Y., Elizabeth Trexler and husband, JT, Altoona, Susan Oswalt, Altoona and Christine Hainley, Tucson, Ariz.; six gr. grandchildren: Matthew and wife, Tyson, Mark, David and wife, Vanessa, Jessica, Sarah and Hannah; four gr. gr. grandchildren: Harper, Keagan, Julian and Cameron; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers: John and Andrew Lazar. Jennie was a graduate of Morrisdale High School and retired as a clerk from Meeks Pharmacy. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the church guild. She also belonged to the Juniata Civic Association Aux. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Altoona. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Committal at Calvary Cemetery.
