Susan was born Nov. 5, 1856, to Adam A. Flowers, Sr. and his second wife, Rissie Herman Flowers.
On Dec. 10, 1873, Susan married Enos L. Bolick and they would go on to have 12 chilren: Davie, Grover, Minnie Mae A., Dora Catherine, Amanda Sabina, Edna Earl, Bessie Priscilla, Sally Anna Victoria, Carrie May, Texie Naomi, and two that died prior to 1900.
Susan and Enos would remain married for 49 years when on Dec. 19, 1922, Enos lost his battle with cancer. Susie would outlive her husband by 13 years and died on Oct. 8, 1935, at the age of 78.
