HOUSTON - Sheila Fay Higgins, 56, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Regency Hospital in Meridian. She was born May 6, 1951, in Vardaman to Thomas Edison Higgins and Lere Elizabeth Brents Higgins. She was disabled and a member of Houston First Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Gaspard and Dr. Allen Simpson officiating. Burial will be in the Houston Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Lera Brents Higgins of Amory; one sister, Elizabeth Anne Denham of Houston; one brother, Thomas Clyde Higgins and wife, Felicia, of Amory; five nieces and nephews, Angela Dawn Williams, Thomas Edwin ?Eddie? Bailey, Leah Brooke Leal , David Adam Higgins, Elizabeth Dianne Higgins; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas E. Higgins on April 8, 2007.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Bailey, Adam Higgins, Brian Kelly, Milford Walters, Ricky Tucker and Eddie Higgins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
