ODESSA - Anna Lucile Cook Munday, 95, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, in Odessa.

She was born July 1, 1914, in Kiefer, Okla., to George Burton Cook and Mamie Bessie Lovett Cook.

She lived in Seminole, Okla., until she moved to Odessa, Texas, in 1947. She worked for Penland Distributors for 25 years as a bookkeeper and receptionist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Ordell Green; brothers, Hugh Cook, Ed Cook, Lyndle Cook; and a sister, Inez Pester.

Survived by a daughter, Johni Munday Richards and son-in-law, Jack B. Richards of Odessa; and a grandson, David A. Richards of Roswell, N.M.; also 10 nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Okla.

Special thanks to the staff at Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to a charity of choice.
