Terrebonne, March 21 (Special) - William Edward Boie died Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hansen, where he had been for several years. Mr. Boie was born at Holstein [sic], Wisconsin, and was a contractor who, with his brother, Henry B. Boie, helped build the Oregon Trunk railroad through here. He was 77 years old and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Hansen, of Portland; a son, Edward Boie, of Portland; a brother, John Boie, of Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. Albert Arks [sic], of Denver, Colo.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Redmond church Tuesday morning. C. H. Irvin had charge of arrangements.
