Daughter of the late Harry Fredrick and Arline Nancy Pontius Mohler, she was raised on a farm northeast of Wakita, OK. The family moved to Ponca City, OK, in 1954 and then to Tonkawa, OK, in 1956. She attended Northern Oklahoma College for a year. She married Louis Joseph Skrdla, Jr., on October 7, 1966, in Tonkawa. They farmed in the Renfrow area of Oklahoma. She worked at the ASC ofice in bookkeeping and she held other jobs during her career. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tonkawa and the First Baptist Church of Medford. She was a member of the Oklahoma Polka Club and the Busy Moms. She was survived by her husband; two sons, Fred Skrdla and Greg Skrdla; two daughters, Mary Enderud and Barbara Owens; two sisters, Frances Pearcy and Phyllis Edwards; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. Her funeral was held at the First Baptist Church of Medford, OK, on November 24, 2009, with The Rev. Jimmie D. Lady and The Rev. Bobby Smith officiating.
