Joyce A. Greenup DeFord, age 65, of Lafayette, passed away at her residence on Monday, November 16, 2009. Born in Frankfort, Indiana on December 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Dee and Earlene Thomas Greenup. Joyce spent most of her life living in Logansport and Lafayette. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School. She worked in production at Carlisle in Logansport for over 30 years before retiring in 2009. She loved animals, especially her beloved dog, Kena.
Surviving are three brothers, Clifford Greenup of Linden, Bobbie Greenup of Shadeland, and Dean Greenup (wife: Margo) of Clarkshill; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Private serives will be held at a later date.
