OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Word has been received in Wabash of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Schlegelmilch, 79, who died at her home in Tampa, Fla., Saturday evening at 10:30 o'clock. She had been ill for three weeks.

The decedent was born in Wabash County on Jan. 27. 1869, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Krow) Stoops. She went to Florida three years ago and prior to that time had spent her entire life in Wabash. She was married on Aug. 1, 1889 to Edward Schlegelmilch who died on Dec. 22, 1930.

Survivors include five children, Mrs. J.T. Drew, Mt. Hope, W. Va., Mrs. N.M. Hudson, Daytona Beach, Fla., Mrs. B.H. Kerr, Tampa, Fla., H.C. Schlegelmilch, Daytona Beach, and Glen, Saginaw, Mich. She is also survived by a brother, Ed Stoops, North Manchester, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Three sons preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

The body is expected to arrive in Wabash Wednesday morning and will be taken to the Jones Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Ralston M. Brock officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
