OBITUARY
HENRY L. GRUNDEITZ, 94, a rancher and a farmer, died Oct. 1, 1993, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave., with the Revs. A. Eugene Rushing and George Fort officiating. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Garden of Angels, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd.
Friends can call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Grundeitz was born July 9, 1899, in Green, Kan., to Frank and Eva (Houser) Grundeitz.
He was married Feb. 4, 1939, in Alta Vista, Kan., to Leola L. Hoch, who survives. He also is survived by three daughters, Juanita McGann and Loeda Westphal, both of Colorado Springs, and Eva Ann Akers of Ellicott; a sister Ivy Conacher of Melbourne, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He had a brother and a sister, who are deceased.
Mr. Grundeitz had lived in Colorado Springs since 1961 and was a member of First United Methodist Church, El Paso Grange and the Alta Vista Chool Board. He was a former member of Calhan Methodist Church and Mountain View Grange.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs 80903, or the charity of the donor's choice.
