MRS. W.A. MARTIN
Mrs. W.A. Martin, 82, died at home in Noble community, Rt. 1, Petty, at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday. She had been ill the past two years.

The funeral, Thursday at 11 a.m. will be held in Fry-Gibbs chapel here by the Rev. A.B. Duncan, pastor of Roxton Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Martin was a member.

Burial will be made in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was formerly Miss Jennie B. Winchester, daughter of John and Jennie (McDonald) Winchester, and was born in Tennessee, July 31, 1872. She had lived in Lamar county 62 years. Her husband died here July 11, 1938.

She leaves these children: Mrs. W.F. Burnett, Batesville, MS; Mrs. L.E. Ingram, Roxton; Mrs. A.B. Roden, Sherman; Mrs. W.E. Thomas, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Lila Rae Brown, Noble community, Herbert Martin, Petty; W.B. Martin, Brookston, And Neal Martin, San Francisco, CA; 29 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, W.L. Winchester, Windom, and a sister, Mrs. J.C. Morgan, Ryan, OK.
