Pearce served as a Technical Sergeant & Radio Operator on B-24H (#41-29292), 705th Bomber Squadron, 446th Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Rockingham County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on July 27, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted as being employed as a Messenger and also as Married.

Pearce was "Killed In Action" when his B-24 was shot down by enemy flak and crashed north of Hanover, Germany during the war. He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

He was originally interred overseas and was later repatriated here on April 10, 1950. Airmen from two different B-24 are interred here together.
