Services for Mary Lou Seay, 64, were held at the New Hope Baptist church officiated by W.D. Fielder of Anson. Mrs. Seay was a member of the Methodist Church since 1884. The family moved to Jones County in 1921 from Hill County.
Mary Lou Cantrell married H.W. Seay in 1888.
Survived by her husband; six daughters - Mrs. C.C. Odle, Mrs. Dixie Webber, Mrs. B.C. Cross, Mrs. A.B. White, Mrs. Gene McKinney; Mrs. Lilly Clock; eight sons - Clyde, E.A., T.J., S.J., Jim, Frank and Travis Seay; 41 grandchildren.
