BENJAMIN H. HULL
Benjamin H. Hull, 93, 1905 Sanford Road, Lakeland, Fla., died Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 8:30 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Hull was born Dec. 9, 1889, in Ripley County, the son of Oliver and Sara French Hull. He was a retired farmer, having farmed most of his life in and around Ripley and Decatur Counties.
He was a member of the Union Flat Rock Baptist Church. He was first married to Altha Russell and she preceded him in death Dec. 9, 1966. In December of 1969 he was married to Johnnie Walker, in Lakeland, Fla., and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Russell F. Hull, R.R.2, Greensburg; two sisters: Mrs. Lester (Daisy) Tucker, Hope, and Mr. Arlie Jayne, Hartsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Hankins officiating, and with burial in the Union Flat Rock Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 pm Friday.
