Dana, Ind., Dec 3 - John Peer, 66 years old, died at 5 o'clock Monday evening at the residence here. He was the son of Jesse L and Keziah Peer and at one time was employed by the Redman Funeral Home. Until the date of his retirement five years ago he was an operator of a privately owned creamery station. Surviving are the widow, Belle; one brother, Ira T Peer of Terre Haute, and one sister, Sally Monahan of Terre Haute. The body was taken to the Kersey Funeral Home and returned to the residence Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Methodist Church, the Rev. H.L. McBride officiating. Burial will be in the Thomas Cemetery near Newport.
