Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed quilting, knitting, working in her flower gardens, making birdhouses and going fishing. Most of all, Marlene loved spending time with her family. Marlene was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Bear Creek V.F.W. Post #6333 Ladies Auxiliary.
Marlene is survived by: her children, Pamela WILBURN of Howard City, Kenneth WIDGREN of Melbourne, Florida, Timothy WIDGREN of Kaleva and Larry WIDGREN of Traverse City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Muriel WILCOX of Cocoa, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by: her parents; her brother, Donald PETERSON; and her sister, Lorraine VOSS.
Memorial services were held 29 November 2009, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva.
