STAR CITY — Mable Henley Clary, 88, of Star City died Saturday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

She was born July 26, 1919, in Monticello to the late Ike and Allie Lane Henley.

She was a retired seamstress, loved antiques, restoring dolls, working in her flower beds and she also loved her animals. Mrs. Clary was also an Assembly of God, and loved attending church regularly at the Cleveland County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Clary was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin "Het" Clary; two sons, Shelby Barnes and Glenn Barnes; five sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include one son, Bret Clary of Star City; two daughters, Clarice Tisdale of White Hall and Bernice Jarrell of Pine Bluff; other survivors include a sister, Minnie Anderson of Star City; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Brother J. C. Patterson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Pallbearers will be Tim Drake, Fred Tisdale, John Drake, Johnny Robertson. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
