Betty Louise Neely Flood was born February 22, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Roy Edward Neely and Selma Ann Snow Neely. She died November 22, 2009, in Rosenberg, TX. She served as Director of Human Resources in the food service industry. She also owned and operated dance studios in Colorado. Music and dance were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by two children, Eloise Flood and David Flood; and by one grand daughter, Rebecca Grayson.
Survivors include her husband, Arlynn Flood of Rosenberg, TX; 2 sons, James Flood of Prescott Valley, AZ, and John Flood of Houston, TX; 3 daughters, Kathy DeLong and husband, Robert, of Richmond, TX; Yvonne Flood of Denver, CO; and Elisabeth Flood and husband, Alan Magenheim, of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Norma Spriggs of Peculiar, Missouri, and Beverly Ann Tanner of Kansas City, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
