Mrs. Millicent Sirmons Deane Thomason, 95, passed November 30, 2008, at the Magnolia House. The service will be Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. EST at the First Presbyterian Church Quincy, with interment Wednesday, December 3, at 2 p.m. EST at the Evergreen Municipal Cemetery in Sanford, Fla. She is survived by her son, William Franklin "Bill" Deane (Carol), of Tusquittee, N.C.; daughter, Nancy Deane Dumville (Harry), of Brevard N.C.; daughter-in-law, Marsha Deane, of Quincy, Fla.; brothers, James F. Sirmons, of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Raymond, L. Sirmons, of Sun City, Fla.; sisters, Ruth S. Wilson and Frances S. Frederick, of Seminole, Fla., and Meriam S. Chemienti, of Madison, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Tenney I. Deane Jr., and husbands the Reverend Tenney I. Deane and George W. Thomason. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 105 North Jackson Street, Quincy FL 32351. Charles McClellan Funeral Home, 850-627-7677, is in charge of arrangements.
