Born in New Bedford, son of the late Harry P. and Alice M. (Knight) Lowe, he lived in Wareham for 25 years until moving back to New Bedford 15 years ago.
Mr. Lowe was the owner of Tremont Contracting Co. He also worked for Normand's Meat Market until his illness.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include his widow; a stepson; a granddaughter; five brothers and three sisters.
He was the brother of the late Beatrice Hopwood and Donald Lowe Sr.
Arrangements were by the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd.
