Frank Johnson Dies At Moores Hill Home
Stricken while raking leaves at his home in Moores Hill Saturday, Frank Johnson, telegraph operator for the Baltimore & Ohio and new York Central railroads for 40 years, died unexpectedly.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist Church at moores Hill, and burial was in Forest Hill cemetery. He was a member of Allen Lodge, F. & A. M., and the I.O.O.F. of Moores Hill. Masonic rites were conducted at the grave.
Mr. Johnson, was one of the best known men in the Moores Hill community, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertha Jonson; son, Wilford, of St. Louis, Mo.; daughter, Mrs. Ramona Huffman of Jefferson City, Mo.; and brother, Amos C. Johnson of Denver, Colo. He also was a member of the Methodist Church.
