Mrs. Frank Gifford Dies
Mrs. Carrie Gifford, 45, wife of Frank H. Gifford, former mayor of Tipton, died Tuesday morning at the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis, where she had been a patient for the past eight days. Death was due to tubercular meningitis.
Carrie (Hall) Gifford was born in Curtisville, April 1, 1885, the daughter of Charles E. and Sarah Hall. Lately the family moved to Tipton. She was married October 24, 1906 to Frank H. Gifford.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of the mother, Mrs. Charles Hall, 328 North West Street.
