Well known Magazine Writer Passes Away After Brief Illness
Mrs. Imogene Dixon Callum, wife of Robert G. Callum, manager of the Mutual District Messenger Company of this city died yesterday morning at Georgetown University Hospital after two weeks illness.

The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Culp, 1765 Q Street Northwest at 11 o'clock this morning. Rev. Mr. Turner, assistant rector of St. John's Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Callum was a native of Savannah, Georgia. She is closely related to Rev. Thomas Dixon, the author and other relatives are prominent in political and literary circles. She was married more than twenty years ago to Mr. Callum and since that time has lived in this city.

Widely traveled and fond of literary pursuits, Mrs. Callum was well known for her brilliant attainments. She was a frequent contributor to magazines and current periodicals. During the past few days Mrs. Callum's death was not unexpected, although prior to her last illness she had enjoyed good health.

Her husband, one son, Preston D. Callum and several sisters and brothers survive her.
