Balzer was united in marriage with Sarah Kearns; daughter of Jacob and Barbara (Mayers) Kearns.
Sarah passed away 26 Feb 1821 in Bart Twp., Lancaster County, Pennsylvania at the age of 37 years. She was laid to rest in Baughman Burying Ground Cemetery in Georgetown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Balzer passed away 14 May 1827 in Bart Twp. at the age of 44 years and 15 days. He was laid to rest in Baughman Burying Ground Cemetery.
