Margaret Thomas
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Bethel Community Church in Eugene for Margaret Esther "Mikki" Thomas III of Springfield, who died Nov. 16 upon removal of life support following aspiration and brain injury. She was 37.
She was born May 8, 1972, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Earl Thomas and Margaret Sanford.
She was a 1993 graduate of Springfield High School. She enjoyed horseback riding, skiing and traveling as a girl. She suffered a brain injury at age 15.
Survivors include her parents; three sisters, Peggy Thomas of Eugene, Linda Araiza of Texas and Mary Thomas-Vickery of Jackson, Tenn.; and three brothers, Gerald of Springfield, Patrick of Eugene and Thackary of Whidbey Island, Wash.
