LEOMINSTER—David Laird, 78, formerly of Leominster, died Wednesday in the Masonic Home, Charlton.

He had lived in Leominster for many years and was a retired clerk of Shipley Bros., Inc., Mr. Laird was a member of the Unitarian Church and Wilder Lodge of Masons.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Christine Dewitt of Princeton and Homestead, Fla., and Mrs. Hazel Ostmark of Fairfield, Conn

Cremation will be in the Rural Crematory, Worcester. Burial will be at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are being completed by the Richardson Funeral Home.
