She married Orville Herrin on Oct 29, 1928. Geneva was a boarder in 1930 at the home of her uncle and aunt, John Loren and Telithia Kreegar Prater, in Sheridan. Geneva was living in Michigan at the time of her death on July 11, 1976.

Inscription
The stone was engraved with the incorrect death date. The numbers were transposed. Engraved 1967 when should have been 1976. Family members have been trying to get it corrected.
