William Exum Kelley, son of Allen Kelley and Sabrina Caswell, was born in Conecuh County, AL before 1850. The 1850 census gives his age as 2.

He and his brothers Jacob, Allen, and Giles removed to Florida.

William Kelley's farm was west of the Old Plank Road, near Natural Bridge, in Leon County.

He died 1 May 1919 of pneumonia on his farm near Natural Bridge.

A family cemetery was created on his farm.

Children: Mary, m. 1st Weld Hamlin, 2nd J. H. Stokes; Luther Cuemar; Martha Louella; Frank Spiller; Jiles K.; Willie Sabina; John George; Ralph Ludlow.
