T. C. McCullough, age 88 of Trenton, formerly of Obion, died Sunday, October 4 at Trenton Place, in Trenton, TN.

He was born in Obion on May 10, 1921 the son of the late Hassell and Mary Adams McCullough.

He was a US Army Veteran and served as sheriff of Obion County for two terms. He was a member of the Newbern Masonic Lodge # 285 and Al Chymia Shrine Temple in Memphis.

Mr. McCullough is survived by his wife Katherine Taylor McCullough of Trenton, two sons Steve McCullough of Troy and Gary and Cheryl McCullough of Memphis, three grandchildren Teresa Goetche of Memphis, Clay McCullough of Hendersonville and Garrett McCullough of Hendersonville, two great grandchildren Kyra McCullough of Memphis and Kate McCullough of Memphis, two brothers Leon McCullough of Obion and Calvin McCullough of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Chris McCullough, his first wife Ellen Sellers McCullough, five sisters Louise Alexander, Bobbie Cranford, Pauline Bullion, Tommie May McCullough and Blanche McCullough, seven brothers Clyde, Bill, Thomas, Franklin, Raymond, James Hassell and Dan McCullough
