The remains of Mrs. Margaret Reese of Kalamazoo, Mich., were brought here Saturday accompanied by her three daughters, Mrs. Wm Hoch, of Tioca, Ind., Mrs. Lizzie Hart, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Lillie Davis of Grand Rapids, Mich., other relatives were also present. The funeral party was met at the station by a cortege of sorrowing friends. The remains were immediately conveyed to the M. E. church where it lay until the funeral services which were held at 1:30 under the direction of the deceased's old minister Rev. S.C. Rogers, of Winamac, Rev. G.F. Cramer, and the local M.E. Pastor, Rev. C.E. Beebee. Interment was made at the Francesville cemetery, east of town. Other relatives who were in attendance from out of town were: Harper Reese of Old Mexico; Mrs. O.S. Higgins of Greencastle; Mr. & Mrs. Frank Reese of Delphi; and Mr. & Mrs. Ellis Reese of Plymouth, Ind.; John Day of Monticello; and Elijah Reese of Francesville. Mrs. Reese is warmly remembered here by many of the older ladies, as she was formerly a member of the Aid Society of the church and was always a willing and efficient worker.
