Church member, worked for Post Office
New Middletown - Mrs. Sue Anthony, 92, of 44 Sycamore Drive, died of complications after surgery this mornng at her home.
Mrs. Anthony was born Jan. 9, 1902, in Summerville, Pa., a daugher of Amaziah and Elizabeth McAleer Thomas and came to this area in 1926. She had been employed by the U.S. Post Office and was a member of Lockwood United Methodist Church and its Senior Group.
Her husband, Willis K., whom she married in 1926, died July 4, 1975.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Norma Lacy, with whom she made her home and Mrs. Carolyn Blattman of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Six brothers, Albert, Charles, James, Sheridan, Henry and Walter Thomas, and two sister, Mrs. Clara Thomas and Mrs. Elizabeth Sheriff, and a grandson, are deceased.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fox Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. 8/11/94
