Obit. (edited), Marion E. Dey (Schonschack) nee Wiegand, 79, of Shelby Twp., died Wednesday in her daughter's home in Warren. Mrs. Dey and her late husband (Donald Schonschack) owned & operated D & M Catering in Mount Clemens from the early 1950s through the mid-1960s. After graduating from St. Joseph School for Nursing, she worked at County Farm, later called Martha T. Berry Med. Facility, in the infirmary.
In 1969, Mrs. Dey returned to nursing at St. Joseph Mercy Hosp. until she retired in 1979. She was an avid pinochle player and played in a card club from 1945 to 1990. Mrs. Dey formerly res. in Mt. Clemens, Anchorville & East China Twp. was a 50 year member of St. Louis Church.

She is survived by her 2nd. husband, Gerald E. (Bud) Dey; children, Jeri-Sue (Al) Harraman, Vicki (Wm.) Sprow, Mary Beth (Rob) Bromley, Benjamin (Anne Marie) Schonschack, Ann (Ron) Zichmer, Joan (Michael) Sharrow, Paul (Renee) Schonschack, Ruth Ann (Larry) Ruddell, Jery (Jackie) Dey, & Micheal Dey.
Additional survivers are sisters, Patsey (Pat) Armstrong, Doris (Ed) Dennis, Judy Monahan, Kitty (Ernie) Nuss, Rose (Jim) Petitpren, Margaret (Bruce) Stewart, & Jeanette (Alex) Zubritsky; bros. Ben & Jim (Charlene) Wiegand.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Donald Schonschack; & son Donald Schonschack 2nd.
Funeral service Saturday in Saint Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker Blvd., Clinton Twp.
