Norman W. Wass

Leominster - Norman W. Wass, 71, of 320 Pleasant St. was pronounced dead on arrival at Leominster Hospital Thursday night after being stricken in his home. Dr. James C. Stevens, associate medical examiner, said death was from natural causes.

Mr. Wass was born in Addison, Maine, and lived in Leominster for 69 years. He was treasurer of the Leominster Heating Co., a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Wilder Lodge of Masons, the Number Six Community Center, and a life member of the Leominster Sportsmen's Club.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Loretta (Lauzon) Wass; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn DeLonch of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Herbert A. and Vernon G. Wass. both of Leominster, and one grand-daughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
