Heather was born September 19, 1984 to Jeff and Mary (Recore) Young at Olney, IL. She married Eric A. Porter July 21, 2009 at Okeechobee, FL. She was a student and employee of Radio Shack at Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Heather was a member of the First Baptist Church in Flora, IL.
Heather is survived by her husband Eric A. Porter; two daughters - Kaleya Lynn Porter and Kylar Mae Porter; her parents Jeff & Karrie Young; a sister - Vanessa Young; two brothers - Nathan Young and Sean Young; grandfather – Bud Clark and father and mother-in-law Rick & Jean Porter.
Preceding her in death were her great grandmother Ida Mae Young, great grandfather Don Young, Sr., grandfather Don Young Jr., mother Mary Young, cousin Kelly Young and cousin Scotty Clements.
Funeral services for Heather Porter were held at the First Baptist Church in Flora, IL with Bro. Jay Keele officiating.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, IL.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 6-8PM at the First Baptist Church in Flora, IL.
Memorials may be made to the Kaleya and Kylar Porter College Education Fund and were accepted at the church or at Hosselton Funeral Home.
