Patricia Ann "Pat" Callaway, 58, of Texhoma, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday evening, November 19th, 2009 at her home.
The daughter of Gilbert P. and Clarice Aletha (French) Van Dolah, she was born on January 18, 1951 in Garden City, Kansas.
Pat graduated from Garden City High School with the Class of 1969. She received her teaching degree from Fort Hays State College in Fort Hays, Kansas. Pat taught school for 18 years in Logan, Kansas and Satanta, Kansas.
She was married to Jimmy J. Callaway on November 17, 1990 in Sublette, Kansas, and has been a resident of Texhoma since 1991. She was a homemaker and member of the Texhoma First Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy J. Callaway of the home, two step children, Randal Callaway of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Darlea and husband, Jeff Livingood of Batavia, Illinois, four grandchildren, one great grandson, and one brother, Duane Van Dolah and wife, Patricia of Garden City, Kansas.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, November 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Texhoma First Christian Church with Rev. Larry Watson pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery.
The Callaway family request memorials be given to the Texhoma First Christian Church. Memorials will be accepted at the church office or the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
