Lived in Frelsburg until the Fall of 1890(?). Moved to Cyclone in a covered wagon and rented land from Julius Geistman.

In 1881 he bought 190 acres from Fred Bruggman and rented part of it to Emil Sell. He eventually sold it to Emil Sell.

In 1922 he and Josephine moved to Rosebud with Oleva and Frank and bought the Heugatter place.
