Mrs. Matilda F. Schmidt, 84 years old, 640 East Thirteenth Street, died Monday in the City Hospital. She suffered a fractured hip in a fall last Christmas. Mrs. Schmidt was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was married in 1879 to Charles L. Schmidt, a salesman for J. C. Perry & Co., who died eight years ago. Mrs. Schmidt was a charter member of the Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, and had made her home here since 1875. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in Shirley Brothers central chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Louis Schmidt and George G. Schmidt; three daughters, Miss Nina E. Schmidt, Mrs. Elizabeth Lehman and Mrs. May Brouse, all of Indianapolis, and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Taylor of Indianapolis, Mrs. J. H. Lane of Long
