Jerry Ennis 1951 - 2009 Jerry was born on October 25, 1951, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Pauline Ennis. He was taken from us on November 2, 2009.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Ennis, his mother Pauline Kidwell, his daughter Melissa Greer, and his son Caleb Ennis. His grandchildren Jerrad, Vanessa, Mathew, Elyse, Jaiden, Erika, and Elayne. His siblings Joyce and husband Kenneth Sanders; Judy and husband Jim Waddell; Johnny Ennis and wife Betty; Jenny and husband Fred Worrell; Janet and husband Ben Lara; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Jerry enjoyed his work as an X-ray Technician. He was employed many years at Mercy Hospital Bakersfield and spent his last years at CCI Tehachapi as a Radiology Supervisor. Jerry was a practical joker who loved gardening, painting, singing karaoke, dancing, playing craps in Vegas, nature walks at his cabin, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jerry loved all types of music from Patsy Cline to Puff Daddy. He especially loved foods that as he would say, "make you step out of the box." Jerry had such charisma, he was dearly loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, November 13th at 10:15 at the new Bakersfield National Cemetary.
