Memorial Tribute: Mrs. Wallace was inducted as Texas Mother of the Year in 1975 by Governor Briscoe. She was a graduate of National Park Seminary, Forest Glenn, MD and active in church as an organist, soloist, moderator and bible teacher. President of United Church Women of Fort Worth 1950-1953. In DAR, she was active on local, state and national levels for fifty years serving as Regent, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Texas State Chaplain 1973-1976 and National DAR Committees. She was an Officer of Huguenot Society. She was President of Woman's Wednesday Club which was affiliated with The Woman's Club of Fort Worth.
