AYNOR | Dulane C. Spivey, 71, wife of the late Charles V. Spivey, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Conway Medical Center.

Mrs. Spivey was born in Conway, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Victor B. "Dick" Causey and Madelyn Dusenbury Causey. She attended Poplar United Methodist Church. Mrs. Spivey was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are one son, Thomas Harrison and wife, Donna, of Conway; one daughter, Sheila H. Singleton and husband, Mark, of Conway; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Peggy Beaulieu of Myrtle Beach and Madelyn Hatchell of Conway.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 at Poplar United Methodist Church with the Rev. George E. Olive officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the Friday service, from 1 until 2 p.m., at the church.
