William I. Quarry, of Saxton, passed away at his home January 3, 1949. He was born in Walker Township on September 18, 1877, a son of Levi and Susan (Bupp) Quarry. He married Bertha A. Neary on September 18, 1900, in Saxton. Mrs. Quarry and the following children survive; Mrs. Guy Bailey and Mrs. Theodore Guerin, both of Saxton; Mrs. John Cummins of Huntingdon and William R. Quarry of Delmar, Delaware. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lillie Stone of Harmburg. Mr. Quarry was a trainman early in life and in later years he was engaged in masonry.
