Princess of Nassau
She married 1815 Archduke Karl (1771-1847), Duke of Teschen, a son of Emperor Leopold II and Maria Louise princess of Spain. During the wars with Napoleon he was commander-in-chief of the Austrian Army.

She died of scarlet fever, which she had contracted through the contact with her children. Her brother-in-law, the emperor, permitted her burial in the Kapuzinergruft in spite of her Protestant faith. Her heart and intestines are kept in a vase. This was common practice in the Habsburg family.
