Clayton M. Prevost, 84, Green Bay, died unexpectedly, Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. He was born April 9, 1925, in Champion, Wis., to Abel and Emma Prevost. Clayton served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in Hawaii as a Chaplain's Assistant. On April 19, 1949, he married Shirley Parmentier at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. For over 30 years, Clayton drove semi for Morning Glory Dairy. Following retirement, he parked cars at Lambeau Field. He loved to hunt and fish and loved to be at his cottage in Tipler, Wis. Clayton especially loved his children and grandchildren and was a supportive father and husband.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; eight children and their spouses, Tom and Sharon Prevost, Green Bay; Dick Prevost, Oconto Falls; Pat and Rachel Prevost, De Pere; Pam Prevost, Barbara Prevost, both of Green Bay; Jerry and Julie Prevost, South Chase; Peter and Lisa Prevost, Kris Prevost, all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Scott (Sheila) Prevost, Trisha Prevost, Nick (Sanara) Prevost, Robert Prevost, Daniel Prevost, Ryan Prevost, Elizabeth Garrity; his great-grandchildren, Chloe Prevost, Mason Prevost, Melissa Prevost, Harley Prevost, Lilly Prevost, Racquel Rockey; a sister, Jean Graume, Green Bay; a brother, James Prevost, Green Bay; three stepbrothers and two stepsisters, Rick, Carl, Jeff, Gracie and Inez; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Timothy Brandt officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.
