Mrs. Louisa B Appler, widow of U.M. Appler, who died three years ago, died on Saturday morning at 7:00 at her home in Mount Joy township, aged 77 years, 1 month and 14 days.
She was born in Heidelberg township, York County, marrying Mr. Appler on February 15 1853. They located in Adams County immediately after their marriage, residing in Mount Joy township for about half a century. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary February 15, 1903.
She leaves four sons and two daughters, Jacob and Elmer I., of Mount Joy township; C Ross, of Boston, Mass., where he is engaged in teaching; Mrs. Cyrena Collins, of Mount Joy township; and Mrs. Mary C Baker, of Cumberland township. She was the last member of the Jacob M Bollinger family. She also leaves twenty-eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral, meeting at her late residence Tuesday morning at 10:00. Services and interment at St. Mark's church conducted by Rev. Dr. T.J. Barkley.
