Mrs. Martha Haverstick
Mrs. Martha Haverstick,widow of Abner Haverstick,died at the home of her daughter,Mrs. H.B.Yoder,341 Charlotte street,this city,from a complication of diseases after an illness of three weeks.She was 85 years of age and was a charter member of the Lancaster Brethren church for 58 years.
Deceased was a daughter of the late John and Martha Gerlock. These children survive: A.H.Haverstick,Mrs.Yoder,John A.Haverstick and Mrs.Walter Landis of Lititz.
One sister,Mrs.Tobias Herr,Wamego,Kansas and one step-daughter,Mrs.Zachariah Frey of Eden also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock from her late home with further services at 2 o'clock in the Brethren Church. Burial will be made in the Greenwood cemetery.
