Buck Thompson was a carpenter and a "family man". He suddenly died of acute myocardial infartion one morning at home. Survivors: His beloved wife Doris Solana Thompson, Daughter, Rhonda Thompson Garris, St. Augustine; four sons, Vernon Thompson and Darryl Thompson, both of St. Augustine, Rex Thompson, Miami, and Howard Thompson, Jacksonville; his mother Clara Thompson, one sister-Helen (Bob) Johnson of St. Augustine; and one brother William David Thompson. He was predeceased by his father, Willie Thompson.
