Well-Known West Citizen Dies In Waco

Joseph Milberger, age 70 years, died Monday evening April 21, at Providence Sanitarium, Waco, following an operation, which he underwent Sunday, the previous day.

The deceased had been in failing health for some weeks and was taken to Waco last Sunday when his condition became critical.

The funeral services were held yesterday, Thursday morning, April 24, at 8:30 o'clock at the late residence and at 9 o'clock at the Catholic Church, Rev. Father Joseph Pelnar officiating. The interment took place at the Catholic Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by the wife and seven children, two sons, Albert of West, and George of Dallas; five daughters, Mrs. Frank Gerik, Mrs. Joe Kabella, Mrs. Frank Prikryl, Mrs. Frank Karlik, and Miss Josephine Milberger, all of West. There are two brothers, one in West, and the other, in Waco.

Mr. Milberger had been a resident of West for forty years. Recently the seventieth birthday anniversary was celebrated, the occasion being marked by the double celebration of both birthday anniversaries of the husband and wife.
