Mrs. Annie Sykora, 67, died at 11 a.m. Friday at her residence in West.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Assumption, father George Doskocil officiating, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. at Aderhold Chapel.

Mrs.Sykora was born in South Texas. She had lived at West for two years. She was widow of J.J. Sykora. He died in March 1945, the same month one of their sons was killed while in service.

She was a member of the Catholic Church and was a Gold Star Mother.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Sykora and Joe Sykora, both of West; two daughters, Miss Frances Sykora of Waco and Miss Mary Ann Sykora of West; two brothers, Adolf Hubenak of West and Frank Hubenak of Sealy; four sisters, Mrs. Tony Neskorik [Nestorik?] of Seymour, Mrs. Sophie Palmer of Houston, Mrs. Mary Brounschiedel of Fayetteville and Mrs. Emily Fogle of Waco, and two grandchildren.

Active pallbearers: Bernard Urbanovsky, Andrew Sykora, John J. Sykora, Frank Ondrej, Albin Chudej, and Allen Bushy.
