Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Msgr. George Doskocil officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Rauschuber was born in Tours, June 10, 1915, and was a lifelong resident of West.
He was married to Margueritt Girard in 1936. He retired in 1977 after 29 years at General Tire. He was a member of the General Tire retiree club.
Mr. Rauschuber was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and K.J.T. Society No. 31. He was bingo chairman at West Fraternal Auditorium and a member of the board of directors of the auditorium. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 2305 and an associate member of SPJST Lodge No. 35 of Elk.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward Rauschuber of Lewisville and Fred Rauschuber of Burleson; a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Rosemary) Banik of West; a brother, J.A. Rauschuber of Tours; three sisters, Ida Rauschuber of Tours, Sister Catherine of Siena of Ennis, and Mrs. John (Regina) Hennig of West; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are Darrin Banik, Eddie Banik, Alan Rauschuber, Joe Dunlap, Mike McCauley, Alfred Rauschuber, Bruce Richardson and David Rauschuber.
