Requiem Mass Held Wed. For Mrs. Marie Prnka

Requiem mass for Mrs. Marie Prnka of Route 1, West was conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. George Doskocil officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West.

Mrs. Prnka, 83, died Monday in a West nursing home.

Mrs. Prnka was born in Czechoslovakia and had lived in the West area for the past 62 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and was a 50-year member of the KJZT Society No. 11.

Surviving are four sons, Joe Prnka of Leroy, Frank J. Prnka and George A. Prnka, both of Route 1, West, Charlie T. Prnka of Burlington; four daughters, Mrs. Victor (Victoria) Holacek of Austin, Mrs. Henry (Genevieve) Krueger of Malone, Mrs. Walley (Christine) Bradley of Houston, Mrs. Robert (Angeline) Birkes of Waco; one sister, Miss Lillian Mensik of Terrell; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
