Requiem Mass Held Tues. For Mrs. Robert Plsek

Mrs. Willa Ann Plsek, 49, of West, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in a Hillsboro Hospital.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Rev. Oliver Johnson officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Monday by Rev. James O'Connor. Another Rosary was recited Monday at 8 p.m. by Rev. George Doskocil.

Mrs. Plsek was a native of West and had lived here all of her life. She married Robert W. Plsek in Alexandria, La. in 1944. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West; Ladies PTC Choir; and the Altar Rosary Society at St. Mary's.

She was financial secretary for several years for Catholic Daughters of America. She was also active with the West Band Boosters Club.

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Zatopek of West; two sons, Robert W. Plsek, Jr., with the U.S. Army in Saigon, and T.J. Plsek of Ft. Worth; one brother, William Calvin Zatopek of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Marchak of Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Joe Vitek, Dr. Walter Mellgren, Frank Seith, Ed Deiterman, Victor Jares and Ed Skopik.
